He composed his first pieces for theater and dance.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #808080;\">In 1973, he moved to Mexico City and began to compose music for theater plays + began the construction of \"musical objects\", motivated by the desire to unite the sound and the visual. In 1974, <strong>Russek<\/strong> set up his personal electroacoustic music studio in the Condesa neighborhood, becoming the first of its kind in Mexico. In 1978 he founded the Centro Independiente de Investigaci\u00f3n Musical y Multimedia (CIIMM), where he carried out musical production, recordings, as well as publications and editorial and academic work. Concerts, conferences and events related to electronic music and alternative media were held at CIIMM for several decades.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Since 1981 he has been working on interdisciplinary works and has created sound environments for exhibitions.
