Welcome to our special transmission dedicated to the music of Philippe Petit.
Celebrating 40 years of music activism in 2023, he began DJing, hosting radio shows and editing fanzines in 1983. He interviewed groups such as Nirvana, Fugazi, Mudhoney, Pixies, Fleshtones, Buzzcocks, Nick Cave, Jon Spencer, Soft Machine, Lydia Lunch and many other "noise-rock" luminaries.
During the 1990s he directed Pandemonium Rdz. And then he was physically born BiP_HOp musique in 2000... Music that challenges the ears and the mind, he ran labels for 25 years and released a hundred albums.
Since the early 2000's, Philippe has been composing music and performing all over the world, playing festivals all over Europe, Russia, Poland, Canada, USA, Mexico, Australia and Asia, and releasing on several international labels such as Aagoo, Southern UK, Monotype, Sub Rosa, Important, Public Eyesore or Cronicà Electronica.

A prequel to "My Divine Comedy" his most ambitious work, which will appear in 2024 on the Portuguese label...

"A Reassuring Elsewhere" which takes us through a mirror in the hope of reaching a wonderland where we feel reassured because nothing is what it seems... A sort of gesture towards vertigo, but also sometimes a hand stretched out towards a reassuring other side... Chapter 2 will appear on the British label Oscillations in September.

2 works published in Modulismethe first platform that supports left-wing electronic music and defends the use of analog instruments that Petit created 4 years ago, and some unpublished works...
