February 6, 2019 From the Grupe de Recherches Musicales (GRM) in Paris, where since 1957 and founded by Pierre Schaefferwill experiment with concrete and electro-acoustic music, Jean Schwarz was one of its members with works since the 70's. Jazz composer and percussionist, he released several works that we listen to. We start with the well known composition "Erda" (1972) and continue with "Anticycle II" (1974), "Symphonie" (1974) with orchestra and electronic manipulations, "Gamma Plus" (1978) with three synthesizers or "Surroundings" (1980) with a recording of sax and blues percussion manipulated with electronics. To "Year Of The Horse/L'Enfance De Vladimir Kobalt" (1980) and "Maison Rouge" (1980) he contributes music to ballets and to "Don Quichotte" (1981) sounds with orchestra, synthesizer and magnetic tape. In "Suite N" (1983) he introduces computer music.
