The harp in the hands of this Welshman is an instrument of reductionist improvisation and manipulations of its sound with objects, harp and electronics. Tireless collaborator of many different musicians and formations of improvisation, free jazz, electronics and other acoustic instruments, we listen to some works of his career. We start with "Vortices & Angels" (2000) together with Derek Bailey to the guitar i John Butcher on saxophone, followed by the quartet with Chris Burn, John Butcher and John Edwards to "The First Two Gigs" (2001) and in solo improvised harp manipulations to "Trem" (2002). Together with the precussionist Ingar Zach sentim "Ieirll" (2005) and amb Ko Ishikawa a "Compositions For Harp And Sho" (2006) manipulations of japanese sho flute and harp. In "Valved Strings Calculator" (2009) in trio format he approaches the harp to the tuba from Robin Hayward i l'ordinador de Taku UnamiIn "3 Harp Treatments" (2009) there is an electronic edition of the improvicasió of the harp by Davies per part de Gregory Büttner i amb David Toop and Lee Patterson improvises with electronics, harp and field recordings in "Wunderkammern" (2010). It is in "Works 1960-70" (2010) where he reinterprets compositions by Cornelius Cardew together John Tilbury (piano) i Michael Duch (contrabaix). Again with the saxophone of John Butcher we listen to "Carliol" (2010) and in solo we finish with the improvised harp approach to African rhythms from "Wound Response" (2012) and "An Air Swept Clean Of All Distance" (2014).
