October 29th, 2008. Since the 80's this biologist and sound researcher from Madrid has been working on "absolute concrete music". It is about considering as sound fishes the recordings of environments that can be from the Amazon jungle (where he has worked so deeply), of urban, oceanic, eolian or electronic sounds that cross the border between silence and silence. Starting with the cassette "UAISCM4:Tlaloc" (1991) with JORGE REYES and listening to some of his key albums like "Azonic Zone" (1993), "Tonhaus" (1994), "Qal'at Abd'Al-Salam" (1995), "Addy En El PaÌs De Las Frutas y Los Chunches" (1997), "Temizlemek" and "La Selva" (1998) we will partially review his career. Also included are collaborations with the "Absolute Noise Ensemble" (2006), "Le Chemin Du Paradis" (2002) with STEVE RODEN and other compilation tracks such as "Untitled 151" (2004) and "Untitled 163 (For Pierre Scheffer)". In today's broadcast we listen to one of the best Spanish sound experimenters!
