November 21, 2007 The free and experimental blues of this Brooklyn guitarist active since the late 70's occupies this broadcast. We start with the guitar improvisations collected between 1979-1980 in "The Dagget Years" and continue with the albums together with folk singer Kath Bloom "Restless Faithful Desperate" (1982) and "Round His Shoulders Gonna Be A Rainbow" (1983), as well as "Come Night" (1991) together with his wife and singer Suzanne Langille. From his numerous solo albums we can listen to "In Pittsburgh" (1989), the recent compilation "As Roses Bow" (1992-2002) and the recent "Departing Of A Dream Vol III Juliet" (2004) and "The Hymn Of The North Star" (2007).
Connors has collaborated with many different advanced rock musicians and we include here themes of works shared with Alan Licht, Thurston Moore and Lee Ranaldo, Jim O'Rourke, David Grubbs, Christina Carter and a 1999 track from the disc "Sails" together with the great John Fahey.
