Frederic Mompou, piano

We will listen to a selection of piano pieces by the composer and pianist Frederic MompouHe was perhaps the most outstanding in his field within the national panorama of the first half of the 20th century and much more recognized in Europe than in his homeland. Discreet music, dreamy and nonconformist with the orthodoxy of his time that combines simple melodies and structures with very personal techniques in the sonority.
