First episode dedicated to Merzbow in its first period: 1979 - 1989 when it was formed by Masami Akita and Kiyoshi Mizutani. Period of the so-called analog era characterized by its ultra lo-fi sound and the use of different sound practices inherited from collage, free improvisation and the most abstract and radical side of industrial music.
